A bit pricy but I decided to pay more and not be stressed by cheaper individuals. One of the companies that actually returned my call. I believe the cleaner's name was Richard. Did a great job. My carpet was in horrible condition. Looks beautiful now. Polite, professional fellow and very helpful with advice.

The carpet we had cleaned looks great - it is a 12 year old cream coloured carpet - treated carefully - but with a partial discolouration where it sat under a sofa and only had been professionally cleaned once in 12 years. The carpet looks fabulous & the discolouration is now so imperceptible we were able to turn it around in the room as we wanted. It will now serve us well for many more years. I don't think we could have expected a better "clean" or service. David delivered the carpet and was very professional! Thank you!

Sent my shag cream rug in to be cleaned. It was looking dingy and a little matted. It came back looking like new. The process was simple. They came and picked it up and dropped it back off when it was finished. I will definitely use this service again.

Very happy with the results of my rug being cleaned. The rug is cream color and had heavy traffic areas that impacted both the color and texture of the rug. After it had been cleaned the carpet appeared like new. The color and texture was uniform throughout the rug. I couldn't tell which side of the carpet previously had the wear pattern. I had considered purchasing a new rug but now this is not necessary. Highly recommend. Service was friendly and easy to get done. I will definitely use again the future.

This is the second or third time I have had my hand knotted wool area rugs cleaned by Love Your Carpet but the first time I have needed a repair. Moths #!&*# made a meal of a section under a couch. The repair was not inexpensive but well worth it. I have examined the rug carefully, top and underneath and I cannot find the repair. Invisible. Thank you so much.

I had an amazing experience with this company. An enormous red wine stain was eradicated. It sure cost a bit was well worth it to save the rug. I would recommend this company in a nanosecond. The office staff are conscientious and polite and kept me informed. A first class business.

We recently contacted Love Your Rug as we had purchased some area rugs for our new clinic and wanted them to be cleaned beforehand. They offer a pickup and drop-off service which was amazing as the area rugs are all different sizes and we would have needed to rent a van. Once they received the rugs at their location, they inspected them and advised us of any repairs (binding) or spot cleaning (stains) that needed to be done. Before any work was done, they provided us with different options to choose from. We are extremely pleased with the outcome and would highly recommend Love Your Rug to anyone who needs rugs cleaned and also repaired. We had Love your Carpet come in to clean our carpets recently. The technician Richard called beforehand to see if we would like him to come a bit earlier. Richard was very professional and knowledgeable. When he arrived he walked around the area where the carpets were to be cleaned. He was able to detect an area where there had been water damage years ago when we had to replace the carpets. He explained and offered all of the various options available to us. Richard did an amazing job, treating our home like it was his own. He moved any furniture and took his time to ensure that all traffic areas were well cleaned. Once done, he asked us to walk carefully around to ensure we were pleased. We will definitely call Love Your Carpet again and would highly recommend asking for Richard.

I was given a time window for delivery and then the driver called when he was 5 minutes away. Very efficient! The driver was very polite and helpful. And the carpet was beautifully cleaned.

That my wonderful dogs have pulled some of the nots out and had a few accidents on it. They surpassed my husbands and my expectations.. it is almost brand new.. they cleaned and repaired the rug. What an awesome business! It was worth the trip to drop off my water and pet urine damaged silk carpet. The staff are all artisans and creative problem-solvers: clothing, footwear, leather art work, carpets all receive the utmost in custom care.

Starting with the user-friendly price estimator on LoveYourRug's website, even small things were done right: e.g., they waited until my rug had been cleaned before charging me. The expertly wrapped (but not excessively-wrapped) rug was ready for pickup quickly, twice as fast as they'd promised us -- don't know if that's typical. Most important, they did a great job with my irreplaceable rug... the silk is white again, the reds are vibrant, -- my exotic and precious piece is as gorgeous as the day I discovered it 35 yrs ago. Overall we had a perfect experience, delivered by a friendly, attentive staff. (FYI, I found LoveYourRug via Google.)

21 year old dull lounge furniture cushions came back in less than a week absolutely better than brand new. Bright, clean, deodorized and sparkling I was shocked actually. This company does wonders on rugs I already knew we get that service frequently but I had no idea they could work magic on those chair cushions. Well worth every penny and thrilled beyond!

March 6, 2024 I purchased a hand-knotted Persian rug at auction and wanted to have it cleaned/freshened up before setting up in my home. One very efficient phone call to acquire price by size and set up time for pickup, which was the next day. Jonathan called to say he was 15 minutes out from pickup. He was in and out in 2 minutes. I was notified by text in 6 days that my rug was ready to come back. Dave was kind enough to walk an extra few steps to put the plastic wrapped rug roll in my living room. My rug was labelled with my name on both ends. Excellent service all the way! The rug is much brighter and feels brand new again. The crush marks from previous furniture placement/owner have disappeared (although I was carefully warned that may not be the case when booking). The whole experience had been amazing and reasonably priced. I am super happy I decided on this service and would absolutely use again.

I have cream colour wool carpeting. That’s risky business when you have kids and a dog. I hadn’t had the stair runners professionally cleaned for years, and before Love Your Rug came in, I was pretty certain the carpets were beyond saving. This was our first experience with having an area rug cleaned. We have a 9x13 rug that was about 8 years old and needed cleaning. I found loveyourrug through internet searches. The web page provided excellent information with respect to their process. The on line estimate was easy, all communication wth respect to pick up and delivery was excellent. They come to Waterloo every Wednesday. They picked it up April 10 and returned it April 17. Delivery man Christian was very courteous and helpful. He helped place the rug and took away the plastic wrapper. The room where the rug was to be placed was just inside our front door, the pad was down so it was a quick and easy job. We will be pleased to to use them again if we need a rug cleaned.

I am very happy with the rug cleaning by Love Your Rug. I delivered to the shop... it's bustling but it didn't take long to deliver. I was told one week but it was ready in two days! I had a tea stain on my wool rug... been there for years. They got it out mostly. Honestly, I'm very impressed that it's barely noticeable now when it was terrible before. The lady who took our order and arranged the pickup was excellent in her handling. The gentleman who picked up the carpets was polite and considerate. Thank you! ——————- The online quote and pickup and delivery was the best part of the service. However, our carpet came back still smelling like dog urine and still soiled at tassels area. I think if the smell and tassels can’t be remedied, they should tell customers beforehand so we can find a solution instead of us rolling the carpet open to find it’s still the same before cleaning. I’m not sure what the $200+ I paid went to.

Communication was very good, especially when customizing our rug cleaning for a few blood and cat puke stains . Our white rug came back clean, bright, and I could not notice any remnant of the stains. Pick up and delivery service was great. I only wish I took a before picture to show the difference.

I have just had my third carpet cleaned by LYR; a carpet my parents bought in Morocco in the 1970's. It's been in storage for years so very dusty; it came back looking like new, as all my carpets have! Also the service is so professional, friendly and efficient. My winter jacket is down-filled, and literally brand new. Unfortunately, there was a problem with the zipper which needed repair or replacement before it can be worn. I had taken it to a few sewing and alteration places, but none of them could help, saying either that the zipper was hard to find, or the sewing work would be too difficult. When I landed at Love Yours Centre, I was impressed with how positive, polite and swift the staff was. They seemed to know exactly what was needed. Now my jacket is fixed and absolutely ready for the winter.

They always do a great job repairing my Chanel purses and they look brand new after the repairs. I am very happy with their services. So, initially when we booked, we advised what was to be done, it included 23 stairs. Unfortunately there was a disconnect and the tech came with a portable machine. We just couldn't let this young man use a portable machine which I believe would have taken a bit longer and not as convenient as the correct machine. So, we rebooked for a few days later, which was not a big deal for us. Well, it was worth the wait! The tech that did the work was Richard...what an asset you have in this man. He was so upbeat, so enthusiastic and positive. He did a beautiful job for us and we just can't say enough about him. We had a few stains from our kitty that we had cleaned ourselves, but a white bleachy residue was left behind....BOOM....gone after Richard cleaned it. Anyway, we can't say enough about Richard and the great job he did. A company is only as good as their employees. We won't be going anywhere else to have our carpets cleaned in the future! We have used Love Your Rug cleaning services a few times for our area rugs. They have always done a spectacular job removing dog urine/vomit stains. We would be hard pressed to find where they were. This year we decided to also use them for cleaning our stairs. After Rich was done, they looked brand new again. The runner was customized to fit our home and they were able to make two gorgeous floor mats with the extra runner. I was very, very pleased with the service. Price was fantastic and quality of the clean was great. My rug looks sparkling. There was only one tiny glitch in communication in that there were many different people who responded to my question about why the quote given on line and on paper when the rug was picked up and what I was later quoted after the rug was cleaned was different as was how I could pay. One email communicator said I could pay the driver, another said I couldn't. The very small increase was due to the fact that I thought and said the rug was machine made when it was, in fact, hand knotted. As for making payment, perhaps I should set up an account to make it easier in future. I certainly will be using Love Your Rug in future.

My bamboo silk area rug had an unfortunate incident with a cup of morning coffee. The cup of coffee won (or so I thought!) I called Love Your Rug within a few days (and after trying to clean up the stains myself). They were very honest with me upfront during the initial assessment so I wasn’t expecting the stains to fully come out (PSA: leave the cleanups to the professionals!) The management team kept in constant contact with me about the progress of my rug, and had it photographed in a very well light and bright room after the first cleaning. While there were a few areas where the colouring was off (these were the areas I had tried to remove the stains myself), the entire rug had turned out BEAUTIFULLY!! A few days later, it was carefully delivered, and after I laid it out again, was so pleasantly surprised how amazing my area rug turned out! In my home with the natural lighting, the rug looks practically brand new again! I would definitely recommend Love Your Rug for any future cleaning needs. They are professional and customer service is top notch! Thank you again!

Who else would schedule your pickup time, allow for contactless pickup, alert you that your rug has been picked up, give you a link where you can monitor your rug progress (cleaning, cleaned, etc), and THEN drooling it off, wrapped and bagged and tagged, ready for you to enjoy. Honestly, could not recommend them enough. Our rug has not looked this good since the first day we bought it.

RATING 5 STARS - 1 STAR Our carpet was picked up and returned in one week. It looks great, like brand new! Well done! We are pleased!! The discounted cost was comparable to other cleaners in the area. The driver, Matt, was exceptional, a real asset to the company. As seniors, with stiff joints, we appreciated his offer to lay our cleaned carpet. The -1 Rating was given because of what I consider was an effort to up-sell. For $72 we could have the loose tape, on the back of the carpet, repaired. I commented that the tape was secure when it was picked up, and refused the repair. The cost was reduced in a second call to $50. Again I refused. When the carpet was finally delivered, the tape was attached, as it had been when it was picked up. A photo before shipping the soiled carpet would be good. The second reason for the -1 Rating was the two dozen plastic tags that were along edges, presumably used in the cleaning process. These tags on the pile side interfere with the operation of the carpet vacuum. Having these tags removed prior to delivery would be a value added step. Would we use LYR again? Absolutely!! If or no other reason than Matt!!

Love your shoes did what I thought was impossible. They replaced the heal on my open toe suade boots that I absolutely love. They not only repaired them but cleaned them that they look brand new. When picking up the shoes we spoke to the owner Tony who was more than happy to show us around the plant. I was surprised to see all the different areas from shoe and handbags repair to rug and furniture cleaning to alteration and much more. I highly recommend them. Wow! I am absolutely impressed by the workmanship! It is so good that my coat looks new! The black leather replacement patches for the elbows and front zipper flap was sewn very well and the leather looks much better than the original fabric that came with the coat. I had two 3x5 wool rugs that I believed were ruined by cat urine. The carpets were cleaned and are odor free and look great. One rug also had its binding replaced. All work was completed in a timely manner and at a reasonable cost.

Overall a great experience using Love Your Rug last month. We've never had our rugs professionally cleaned so we chose this company based on the reviews. The service was surprisingly quick! From start to finish, we had our rugs back home in about a week. Pick-up and delivery were very prompt and early. I expected a later time since I've never experienced such early times from other unrelated pick-up and delivery services. It was nice to experience this! I was using a 2" wide guitar strap for years but I went to her with design and she designed it to be 3.5" wide with a foam supportive stripe in middle of the satin material I provided. She added grommets on each end for added support. The product she made was amazing. Looks great and feels super comfy. Thank you Anna Marie and her lovely assistant Nicole in the front. My drums look amazing becuz of you, look forward to seeing you soon with my next project 😁.

I had a great experience with Love Your Rug. I needed an area rug cleaned and had no idea where to do that, so I searched on Google and found Love Your Rug. The whole process was very easy, smooth and prompt. I just had to fill out the details of my rug online and got a quote. I could also pick the date of the pick up online. Did not know about them at all. Found out thru the flyer. I am in Hamilton, so was not sure how it will all work out, given that their facilities are in Toronto. Well, Safia picked up the carpet just on time slot scheduled. In about a week time, Safia brought it back and the cleaning was superb: I think the carpet colors were better and brighter than the original ones! Highly, highly recommend and from now on am going to use only them for all our cleaning needs.

Sheepskin carpet cleaning is not offered at all places; it is specialized. I trust my antique carpets to a specific place, but had no where to clean my sheepskin rugs. I had the luck of being advised to approach this company and they did an excellent job. These rugs are more common in Australia and elsewhere and there are many more providers for cleaning and maintenance there, so I expect a certain quality upon return. I was not disappointed with this company here. I will continue to use their services. Absolutely worth investigating. And while it usually needs no mention, because customer service should be exactly that, speaking with Safia was easy, clear and efficient. Everything I appreciate. Genuinely endorse this place for sheepskin cleaning and revitalizing. I cannot wait to get my rugs back. And thanks for making it a quick conservation. So appreciated.

I gave the wrong rug size by accident for two of my rugs and they still honoured the price quote they gave on the phone even though the rugs were larger in size when they received them. I had used this cleaning company before and they do a great job at deep cleaning the rugs and I like that they hang them to dry which ensures that the rugs are completely dry and odour free when they return them to customers. I can recommend this rug cleaning company with pleasure. My area rug had pet stains, dirty traffic paths and water marks. I was afraid it would not be salvageable but they listened to my concerns, and promised to keep me informed if there were any problems. They did recommend an extra step to remove the pet odors and I agreed as the pricing was fair. The rug was was returned quickly, wrapped, and as good as new. After seeing their billboards across the city, I decided to get my rug cleaned. It couldn’t have gone more smoothly. A wonderful gentleman came and picked it up. They did an amazing job and dropped it right off at the house. And they are very reasonably priced. Cheaper than dry cleaners and you don’t have to drag the thing. Amazing service!

Tracking item seems to be the issue. Fix that and its 2 thumbs up but for now a 3 star. UPDATE, October 7,2021. Sent the rug back a second time. Wow what a difference! I had an old persian rug with pet stains I thought I would have to throw it out I paid a little extra however they were able to remove the stain and the rug is soft again. There is an extra service for rug dying to make the rugs look new again which I might use in the future. I would use this cleaning service again.

Great experience with Love Your Rug. I had an emergency (friend's rug staining disaster) and they removed the stains and then painstaking re-coloured the effected sections fibre by fibre. It was a lot of work snd cost a fair bit, but was done perfectly when that was the only acceptable result. Highly recommend.

Got three rugs picked up, cleaned, and delivered. Two of the rugs had bad stains (that another popular rug cleaner in the city couldn't get out) that we thought wouldn't come out, but customer service called us to discuss and for an extra fee did extra stain removal treatment. The two stained rugs are now good as new and we couldn't be happier. The service isn't cheap, but we definitely feel that the quality and service was worth it. Coupled with pick up and drop off, using them again would be a no brainer.

A little kid coloured all over my white rug. I contacted these guys, dropped my rug off and was explained the process in detail. Very professional and excellent service. I picked up my rug today and it looks better then it did when I first bought it. These guys are great and I will be using their other suite of services in the future! 1 year later: I got my rug cleaned again from these guys and it was done thoroughly and the customer service was amazing!!! This is one of those businesses that you utilize for the rest of your life. Their service during Covid-19 has been exceptional. You really can’t go wrong with these guys.

Got my living room rug cleaned. It is almost 4 years old I have 3 kids and 2 dogs so it was definitely in need of a clean. I couldn’t believe how great it was. It was like a new rug! This was done during this pandemic and they were very professional and kept to physical distancing with porch pick up and drop off. Will definitely use them again .

Our carpet is 100% hand woven wool, so you could imagine the use of it over a year. It was so bad that I spent almost 2 hours trying to manually pull the extra lint off of it and spot clean But no luck . My bf found these guys online and not only did they provide a pick up and drop off option but when I saw my rug I couldn’t believe they were able to pull this off !!! My rug looks brand new !! Love the job they did in getting a dog urine stain out of our wool and bamboo silk carpet, especially after I made it worse by using our steam cleaner on it. I was told upfront that if it didn't come out with the standard cleaning their stain experts would do their magic on it. I was prepared to pay for that extra work but it wasn't necessary. Had my 10 year old 8x10’ area rug picked up, cleaned, and delivered from my downtown condo for around $150 including tax. It was seamless service and my rug looks great. Highly recommend. More details below. I used their instant quote feature on the website which quoted $150 + $50 if I wanted them to pick up. I didn’t respond and continued to shop around and they emailed me about a week later offering free pick up/delivery. So I said yes and they called me to arrange. We arranged a early morning pickup (7am, conveniently before I left for work), the guy came up to my unit and carried out my rug (they asked me to have it rolled). A week later they arranged to have it returned, also at 7am. They carried it up and I paid with my credit card. I cut the plastic open to look at the rug and it looks great. Previously it was filled with dirt, stains, and was gross. Now it’s clean and fluffed again. It doesn’t look brand new but it looks really good again. I’m quite happy.

Our area rugs got damaged in a basement flood. I called Love Your Rug for help. They picked up the rugs and returned them as good as new. The service was very convenient and reasonably priced. I have a 100% viscose rug and had spilled a pink drink on it about a year ago which had discoloured and matted the rug in that spot. After reading up on viscose rugs and finding out that it is a very delicate material that often discolours even if water is spilled on it, i was so discouraged and disappointed that my area rug will never look great again. I searched on google and found LoveYourRug. I read the reviews and read up on their services, etc and decided to call and schedule a pick up (as i live in Oshawa). They have a specific day that they are in the Oshawa area (a 3 hour window) which worked out perfectly with my work schedule. The driver called about 30 minutes before he arrived on the pick up day and on drop off day (at the top of the 3 hour window for both pick up and drop off), which was great! I received a call from a representative when they received and assessed my area rug and the lady explained that the spot with the stain will not go back to it's original state but, that they will try their best to restore the fluffiness. I was okay with this as i knew it had been like that for a while and it seemed next to impossible to restore. I received my area rug today and to my surprise and delight, it looked pretty close to brand new! I am so happy that LoveYourRug was able to clean and restore my area rug within 2 weeks (I originally was told it may take 3-5 weeks). I would absolutely recommend their services to anyone and i will definitely be using their services in the future!

Love Your Rug closes at 4:00 pm on Saturdays and we started at 3:00 pm from downtown. All roads towards west had traffic congestion, it was impossible to make it by 4:00. We called and requested - Kathy was nice on phone, they stayed open and took our rug. It felt like working with real human beings, Kathy and Tony were great and we had an awesome chat. We felt they are trust worthy and reliable.

I visited their website to request a quote to clean my synthetic (shag?) area rug and was contacted via email in under an hour by Kathy. There was some back and forth communication and all of her responses were very prompt. I needed the rug cleaned and I was in a rush. On Monday early morning as soon as I said "let's proceed, come by and pick up", the driver came in his truck in about under hour. I was going to give my wife a heads up but the driver showed up before I can even tell her what was going on. Since I needed the cleaned, the arrangement was that if it dried on time, they would deliver it otherwise I go and pick it up. I received a call later that week information me that the rug was ready, however the rug finished drying right after the delivery truck left. The person on the phone said that I can come pick up, but they also have a driver or someone who lived in my area and was willing to deliver it to my house when he finished work. I went with the ladder option. I got home, I saw the rug wrapped in plastic. I unrolled it and it looked amazing!!! It actually looked and felt almost brand new. There were parts of the rug that felt flat from all the foot traffic before I gave it to them. It came back soft and "fluffy" again! I only called two places for a quote. To ME I thought it was a little pricey to have a rug cleaned, but without knowing how much other places charge, I cannot tell whether their prices are average, below or higher. Our cat had torn into the structure of a much beloved (and expensive !) rug. I thought it was doomed. I contacted loveyourrug.ca with a picture. Kathy got back to me right away with an estimate which was very reasonable. They picked up my rug at my door, took it in, and actually did the repair for less than the estimate! My rug was back at my door only two weeks after I agreed to the work, and the repair is seamless. I would not hesitate to use their service again or to recommend them to anyone who thinks their rugs are beyond repair!

I brought in a leather jacket that I stopped wearing due to it not fitting well. Tony took a look at it and within minutes was able to identify what needed to be done. I recently had a flood in my basement and my expensive rug was damaged i was convinced it had to be thrown out as told by other cleaning companies. I found this place Love your Rug in Toronto and when i went in i was greeted by Julie the Customer Service Manager who told me the damage to my Rug would be NO PROBLEMM and asked me to give them 2 weeks with it after 2 weeks and updated phone calls by Julie my Rug was returned back to me in, i feel better condition than when it was bought many years ago. Amazing place for leather. I rode all the way to Key West in my motorbike jacket through rain, ridiculous heat and more bugs than I care to admit. It was filthy and did not smell great by the time I came back. A short visit to Love Your Leather/Rug, and it was literally like new. They cleaned, deodorized, re-dyed, and moisturised my jacket and I could not believe how much better it looked. If your leather looks tired, dirty or old, I strongly recommend you bring it here instead of getting a new one.

I’ve used them once before in the past and they did a great job on my carpet. I appreciate the service of pick-up/drop off but seriously, dropping my rug off at 7 am with no warning is ridiculous to me. I was told there would be a delivery today but not at 7 am. The sun isn’t even up and the centre isn’t even opened yet. Would have loved to have been given a time frame of when they’d be here so I could have been prepared and I wouldn’t have been woken up while sick in bed.

UPDATE: After being contacted by phone by a customer service representative, I've decided to up the rating to 4 stars solely because of the excellent support provided by the individual. Made special arrangements for pick-up and delivery. Upon pick-up, luckily my husband was home because they did not come prepared. Delivery was supposed to be at a different address (part of instructions provided upon placing the order over the phone) however if I did not call them, they would have delivered it to the wrong address. All I got in return was "oh yes I'm seeing a note here should I update the address?" Seriously?! Why would you NOT check your notes?? Finally after speaking with them MULTIPLE times and confirming that I wanted the rug to be brought inside upon delivery, the driver leaves it on the porch. FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS AND COMMUNICATION WITH DRIVERS NEEDS TO BE IMPROVED.

The quality of the rug cleaning is phenomenal! I am thoroughly impressed as an old rug looks and feels brand new again. Also I am please with the price and feel it was fair. It did need to make multiple calls to get the rugs picked up and delivered. I called 4 times in total even after using the online form to place and order and receiving a response via email. Be prepared to call so coordinate pick up and drop off or else nothing will happen. It took two people and a manager to get my order initiated for some reason. I got the sense that their systems or back office processes were not effective. That said the end product is spectacular.

Pickup and drop off was very easy, they come right to your house with no hassle. I would say that they should work on communicating by phone if there is a change of what day the pickup will be made. My only complaint is that my rug is maybe 80% clean. I initially sent in my rug because it had a faint smell of dog pee (which I told them twice and included on the form). My rug still faintly smells like dog pee in the same spot where the mess was made and I overall don’t think the rug smell fresh. It is a shag rug but I think abit of a deeper clean could have been done.

They did a good job.They did remove a stain on the carpet not sure what they used, but now I have white circle mark on my carpet. You can see it in the pictures I posted

We cleaned two rug with this company this spring. Everything went well with pick up and delivery, despite the changing quates once they received the rugs, I was happy with the service. However, once we unwrapped one of the rugs, I noticed some of its threads were pulled out in multiple places and also big chunks durty dust were stuck to the rug. I emailed our concerns to them along with the pictures but had not heard back from them. It is unfortunate that they do not take responsibility for damaing the rug. I was hoping to have the repeat cleaning done with them. Be careful as this may happen to you as well. After the post above, I was contacted by their team member and they picked up the the rug to fix. So, updating the rating accordingly.

It was an okay service. One of my rugs was still dirty afterwards. Not sure if I would use them again to be honest.

Cathy set my appointment the same day, picked up in a timely manner and Mike the driver was extremely courtesy and friendly. Their ad states 5-7 business days, but it took longer and I needed to call in to confirm the where abouts of my rug. Cathysaid she'd follow up within 24hrs. Which she did. Once it was time to pay I spoke to a young lady who was quite dismissive as I noted that the turn around time was lengthy and asked what they were going to do in regards to this: " you can pay the full payment via etransfer, credit, etc". Once I again rephrased the question she asked abruptly "which method". I had to advise her she ignored my question. Before she could finish even asking me "what was your " she cut herself off and reiterated that "depending on the day it sometimes takes longer and that I should have been advised. " Do you have any other questions? And, she ended with a thank you for using Love Your Rug. End of the day they didn't adhere to the time frame and the young lady wasn't the most pleasant. But, Mike and Cathy have excellent customer service.

I was a little surprised when they asked me if wanted an enzyme treatment for my rug, but didn't let me know until after that it would be an additional $75 for this service. This is after I had already given them my credit card details for the $150 cleaning fee. It seems slightly disorganized and a touch dishonest.

Quite disappointed in how it appears “love your rug operates”. While the pickup was very professional, they then try to upsell charges. The initial promotion draws a customer in. We had 2 rugs picked up with a 30% off deal. I get a call today and was told the rugs have been cleaned but there is a stain in one. They said they will clean it for an ADDITIONAL 65$ + tax!!! Why would I pay extra for the job I paid to be done in the first place?? I m not paying almost $500 to vacuum the rugs - it was to CLEAN them. You state that you have the “Latest Rug Cleaning Technology in Canada” yet you don’t mention that it only applies if the customer pays more. Not impressed and needless to say I rejected the up charge - I will get it done by another provider when they return the rugs. Here by the way is a picture. The “A” is the image the technician sent me today via text AFTER they claimed they cleaned it with the apparent stain. The “B” is my picture just before they picked it up!! You be the judge. A dissatisfied customer.

EDIT 2: Yes, your employee gave me no time-frame as to when your driver would arrive. I received an email at 8:52AM letting me know that the driver had left already. I was downstairs at my gym, not expecting it to arrive that early. Maybe you should instruct your employee to give time-frames of arrival so customers can prepare. I guess I will be picking up my rug because I refuse to pay an extra $55. Thanks for everything! (Not really but, ya) EDIT: Hi Tony, I did speak with someone. Someone on your team promised me I will get a phone call back the same day regarding the colour correction, and yet no one contacted me once again. The next day Anna reached out, and at that point I cancelled the colour correction and I just want my rug back as soon as possible. Im sorry but I will not be returning as a customer. So far my impression of this company is not good. I had my rug picked up Nov 28th, and today is Dec 12th and I still don’t have my rug back. The worst part is I have had zero contact from them. I had already discussed and authorized to go ahead with staining/colour correction with someone, and they told me they would contact me once the rug was cleaned to confirm the adjusted price etc, which was fine. It has been 2 weeks now, so I finally contacted them to see what’s going on. Turns out my rug is just sitting somewhere in a room in their facility. I’m assuming they were waiting to proceed with the colour correction, but no one had actually contacted me to give them the okay to proceed, so my rug was just sitting there waiting. Good thing I called them or else who knows when they would’ve remembered to finish my rug. I’m sure their cleaning service is great, but as for turn around time and communication, I am not impressed.

Terrible experience. My sheepskin rug was picked up and washed by Loveyourrug. It was returned to me with an offensive chemical detergent smell. When I listed my house, the rug could not even be placed in my home since the heavy detergent smell overpowered any space it was in. Airing the rug outside has not helped so now, after 9 months, my sheepskin rug sits in a box in the garage, useless to me. I could never let my newborn baby lay on it with the heavy odour coming from it. When I attempted to raise the issue, the company rep commented that scent free detergent is used, more-less denying that the issue originated from the cleaning. My rug was not sent in with this chemical detergent odour so the only place it could have come from is the cleaning process. 100% satisfaction guarantee is untrue.

My stains on carpet showed up after a month. Looks like They just cleaned superficially. Not recommending

I was at first quite excited, but by the end of my experience was very disappointed with Love Your Rug. I would not recommend.

Did they do a great job cleaning my rug? Yes. Is the customer service awful? Yes. I had an unpleasant conversation with a women named Kathy, and Stephanie I believe, who sounded annoyed that they have to answer phone calls. These customer service representatives spoke over me (interrupted and spoke over me when I was talking) huffed and puffed when I asked questions, and spoke down to me in a condescending manner. It completely soured my experience, and I will not be a retuning customer.

Called in to ask for timeline was told one week. Drove all the way there and the told me 2 weeks as their production would be closed for some unknown reason. I asked why I wasn't notified before driving in with the rug In my car. Asked for discount for the 2 week wait period. Did not agree for any type of discount or gas reimbursement. Place is small and looks sketchy, and unkept. Won't be coming back

The service was pointless and the carpet was almost as dirty as when it was taken. The whole reason I sent the carpet in, was to get rid of the dirt/debris collected within the carpet. I couldn't get to with just a vacuum because it's a thick shaggy carpet. It was a waste of money.

Horrible job!!! the carpet has some clean spots and then the rest is still dirty. Looks horrible. Looks like it was spot cleaned in areas. Of course they just ignore you when you contact them about the state of the carpet. Sent them pictures like they asked an no response..Steer clear of this place!!!!

My daughter and I took a pre-own red rug to be cleaned at “love your rug”, and after the male agent who received the carpet and the immediate payment, told us it was going to take about a week to be cleaned up; but against this statement, I got a text message the very morning after the dropping, where they let me know the carpet was already washed and cleaned. Very surprised, I contacted the Mobile Dr location to make sure there wasn’t a misunderstanding, but a woman assured me over the phone that the carpet was cleaned and ready to be picked up. What was my surprise the next day, after a brunette woman handed me the carpet all wrapped in plastic and crammed with tape. When we unwrapped it to noticed the rug didn’t receive a drop of water, a gentle brushing or any kind of treatment to remove blond hairs from previous owner, pieces of threads and plastic, along with a melange of dirty particles, added to a dark film of dirt easily noticeable throughout its surface, one of the the many reasons why we decided to pay almost $90 to a cleaning “expert”. If this wasn’t enough, the brunette woman agent that was dealing with this situation, adopted an haughty attitude implying we didn’t know what we were talking about. And begrudgingly offered a video of the process of cleaning if I wanted it, to which I consented hoping this way they would definitely had to clean it. I certainly can't comprehend how this so called company try to scam people out right in front of your own face, and without shame at all! I have’t received ANY KIND of apology for intending to rob me or at least out of feign courtesy, but they are too arrogant to lower their heads and accept they wrongdoings. Without blinking, they take money from you intended for a service they consciously don’t plan to accomplish, unless they get forced to do it, as far as I know, this is called SCAM. So, based on this firts/last experience, I WILL NEVER IN MY ENTIRE LIFE WILL TAKE ANYTHING TO THIS PLACE TO GET SCAMMED A SECOND TIME. TAKE YOUR RUG OVER THERE AT YOUR OWN RISK. You can see in the pictures, texts on Sept 19th, after I dropped the rug, and texts the very next day Sep 20th, where I was told the carpet was ready to pick up. The record from the call that lasted one minute, I added this because I got an email from someone from the company, who conspicuously upset, went against everything I said in my complain. No intention to denigrate or cast aspersions on someone’s good name, but sometimes the truth does not hold the sweetest taste.

Really difficult to work with and don’t foster a feeling of trust. I don’t feel good about my interactions with this company. Quotes kept doubling. Charged me double for ‘cleaning’ when what I specifically requested was a stain removal, which they did not do. It now turns out that this service is ‘restoration’. The business model has the distinct feeling of being a bait and switch, hook you in with one price then once they have your property, start pumping that price up. They also consistently refused to give me clear information or respond to clear questions I had about the condition of the rug after they worked on it. It was just unpleasant and caused me concern. I had a bad feeling about the place from the moment I walked in. I regret not listening to my intuition. The receptionist tried to upsell me a needless deoderizing treatment. The rug has barely been walked on in the fairly short time it has been owned and was in a room which is almost never occupied. I had driven to the facility with the rug on my passenger seat for an hour via the airport, there was no odor. Yet somehow the technician noticed an odor in their warehouse in the short moments it was in there. This just wasn’t plausible. I see the other reviews here but my experience has been poor and I regret dealing with this company. I am nervous to collect the rug as I do not feel that this company is a safe set of hands. Hopefully I’m needlessly concerned and they simply didn’t fix the water mark and doubled the price, but from how cagy they have been in their communication I’m not feeling very good about them.

Awful repairs to my shoes. Charged way too much. Awful workmanship. Shoes fell apart from only wearing them once. I brought them back to show them how poorly done they were and they wanted to charge me again! Awful place. DO NOT BRING GO THERE! Also very rude disorganized business. They go through employees like a revolving door. That alone speaks volumes. After my experience that left a sour taste in my mouth. Will never step foot or refer your business to no one. Tony the owner we can say anything on here your employee turn around is awful. Speaks volumes as your profession.

Ruined rug and also has audacity to ask for $60 payment to return the ruined rug???? Or $200 to repair? But they said they ruined it??? Sounds like a scam too me just to steal a quality rug from customers. Don't ever trust these people!!!!

No accountability for damaged rug. I dropped off my rug which they inspected and said it will be ready in a few days. A week later my wife calls and they tell her it’s not ready but that it’s damaged. At pickup I’m told it was damaged at drop off and they had definitive photo proof and if they didn’t have proof of course they would fix it. I agreed that this was fair and waited for them to come back with the photos. They come back with the unclear / distant evidence attached- one is of a woman rolling the rug where the damaged corner is not even visible! The second picture is the rug with the damaged corner too far away to see clearly. A week after pickup I received an unsolicited text from them offering $400 to repair it. Their story was already pretty far fetched but did these professionals really miss $400 damage in their multiple inspections?? Regardless they took zero accountability in all this and got paid for the cleaning job so maybe this approach works for them… I’ve attached a clear photo from after I got the rug back. For the record, if you zoom into their before picture it looks like the rug had some small wear on the corner frills. It was probably something minimal which is why neither my family or their team noticed it. Their process likely made the corner much, much worse…

I don't recommend their service. Their customer service is unprofessional and rude. Every issue that you bring up with them they will point the finger of blame at you. They can't even offer a simple apology to a unhappy customer instead they blame you and get offended. AND whatever you tell them they start to rant about how good and excellent their company and service is :))) **** JUST scroll through their one star reviews on google and read how rude and unprofessional they react to criticism. That's how you are gonna be treated if there is an issue. ***SAVE YOURSELF the trouble and avoid them.

We are extremely disappointed with Love Your Rug service. We sent a rug with pet vomit to be professionally cleaned, and unfortunately rug looks the same. Customer Service representatives we worked with were not friendly and we believe they were looking for a way to blame us that the stain could not be removed. We would not recommend this company or service to anyone.

$120 for shoe cleaning. Attached is how I received my shoes which were not 100% clean. This is unacceptable when you're paying those prices for a clean. The owner is quite difficult to deal with so unless a refund is offered this review will stay posted. I'm sure the owner will come up with some excuse as to why the job was poorly done. EDIT: This was my boyfriends shoes which i'm posting a review for. The owner does not recall work he has done a few days ago? Strange

Never actually used their services. Was cutoff by their work truck on the highway and saw them repeatedly swerve in and out of traffic. I don't trust a business with a driver who is okay with risking other drivers safety especially with such a large vehicle.

We recently had our rug cleaned previous to a move. Pick up and delivery were great. Unfortunately, after our move we unrolled the rug to find it discoloured. We started off with a lovely off white rug that is now a yellow hue. We could have cleaned the rug better ourselves. We moved out of the area and have little recourse. Update: I found it for their response to state it was very, very dirty as inaccurate and disrespectful. After emailing Love Your Rug with the photos with the pictures as requested over a week ago, they have yet to respond.

After cleaning, our ELTE wool rug, looked badly discoloured and distressed. Also, the wine stains they promised to remove came out more visible than before. I definitely would NOT recommend their services to anyone.

My mother in law hired this company to clean her rugs. They were almost an hour late and when they finally showed up they tried to just walk in the house without knocking. Finally knocked and when we answered the door the guy just stood there looking at us. We saw the truck and said, So you’re here for the carpets? He looked at the tuck and then looked at us and said, it looks like it, doesn’t it? We said at that moment, sorry but I think we will find another company thank you. When we went to shut the door the man put his foot in the door and started screaming at us in some other language. We said if you don’t remove your foot we’re calling the police and he finally left. Not without almost hitting a child walking to school on the sidewalk because he didn’t even bother looking as he pulled out. I don’t know what this man’s problem was but please do not hire this company. Not sure if it is a front business or if this man was just not having a good morning. But he was completely unprofessional.

So many problems with this company , starting with a late order , once the order actually delivered I opened my rugs and dirt fell Out of the packaging, I don’t even think they were cleaned . When I challenged them on this they basically called me a liar. The 100% customer satisfaction promise is the lie . Terrible experience stay away from these guys . As a follow up to this review - Tony took the time to respond to my google review publicly but never once tried to contact me via phone or emails to address my concerns, no one from the business actually attempted to resolve my complaint . anything written in response to this review is just lip service.

I sent my carpet to them with 2 whitish marks from where I had cleaned stains. It came back with 2 brown marks. They convinced me it was an interaction from what I put on it and what they put on it AND if I wanted them removed it would cost 700$. I have a matching carpet that finishes a large space and they were from ElTE so not cheap so I said ok I am kinda in a bind. The carpet came back with NOW 3 brown marks. And when I showed it to them they said they would never let a carpet go out like that and something must have happened from the time they cleaned it and the time I got it. Which means the original brown marks was the same scenario they let it come to me originally with brown marks. They sent an outside contractor to clean the brown marks then charged me 700$ then when I tried to contact them about it they ghosted me!! Be warned they don’t stand behind their work. They charged me for their error!!! O also when I moved the carpet there was a weird grit all over my floor.

Hi - so all I did was go online to get a quote myself to see what it would cost to clean my two rugs - I did not submit. In a span of one minute, I was bombarded with emails and then when I blocked them, I got texts asking me to complete. Please do not enter your email and phone number even if just getting a quote online. Unless you submit, it should not send any type of notification. So annoying to get bombarded with emails and texts on your Holiday weekend. Will definitely go with someone else!

I would never use this cleaning service again for any future needs. The owner of this business is very kind but the manager and staff lack basic skills and are not pleasant to work with. We paid $186 for 2 towels, a bath mat, small rug, a hamper and a king size bed sheet to be cleaned and waited a month for items to be cleaned! No one contacted us that they were ready even at that point, we contacted them. Some items had mild so they told us it would be a best possible outcome. Then my husband went to pickup items, they didn’t give him the full order and missed something. Because we live an hour away I said as a resolution they should deliver this item as this is a service they offer. They refused. The lead manager Kathy there lacks communication skills to be able to actively listen, empathize and respond using critical thinking. She just kept repeating point blank we could pickup when we’re in the area regardless of what I was saying. When I asked to speak to someone else to elevate my concern she said there was no one else and repeated her same rhetoric hanging up the phone. Avoid this business if you wish not to be left extremely irritated dealing with incompetent customer service staff.

We had a rug cleaned by this company. We chose them based on their positive reviews. However, we regret this choice. Their service is quite expensive (it cost us approximately half of what we paid for the rug) but not only they did no clean our rug properly (not better that what we could have done with our rug cleaning vacuum), but the rug is now rippled on the edges and possesses a safety hazard. I have tripped on it several times already. And I did not even account for the fact that the whole process took much longer than we were told. Do not recommend using thie services of this business. EDIT: The order was placed at the beginning of February. Tony did not leave any contact number and not sure what kind of assistance can be given now. I am afraid to let this company touch my rug again.

I sent and a $3000 30 year old wool rug that my mother and father gave me. It was a mint shape when I sent it in and when I got it back it was totally damaged. They never took responsibility for it.

Poor communication.

It's first time to repair my boots and heels with this company. I had horrible experience. They forced me to full pre-paid. I noticed the damage on the boots and asked them to fix it properly, but they were unable to fix it. I felt tired for checking the status of the pickup and waiting for their follow-ups for the other heels that took over a month. Oh no, not recommended!

Absolutely horrible experience with this company. My very expensive rug left in one piece and came back with a noticeable separation in the rug. After several attempts to ask them to properly fix it they were unable to fix their mistake.

Poor customer service and so unprofessional. I'm sure there is way better service out there than this.

Extelemy rude and unprofessional service. Took my rug for a month were unable to clean it, told me it's damaged AND asked for $150 to fix that damage in addition to what they charged me for cleaning it. Be aware. Seems like these people are scam and don't care about their work or customer service

I’ve been here a few times and today was the last time. They always take forever to drop off or pick up and they are way too expensive. I tried to drop of my rug today, last time I paid $70 for a 5x7 rug to be cleaned and today they wanted to charge me $148 up front, last time they let me pay at pick up but not today. Really not happy I trudged all the way out for such poor service.

I questioned their costumer service from the beginning. I was given a quote with a discount however the invoice given to me by their driver was for full price. As for their free pick up and delivery, they wanted to charge me $150 if they had to sent 2 men to pick it up. I was expected to help loading my rug. I do understand it is a large rug (14x11) but I let them know this before receiving the quote but they did not indicate to me that I would have to help load the rug when picked up. My rug had stains which I discovered other companies would attempt to remove as part of their regular process however “love my rug” wanted an additional $1400 to attempt to remove these stains… only suggesting that it may only be 90% effective. I declined the additional payment and when the driver delivered my rug he told me my name was not on his manifest… only a reference of “not worth dealing with”. I wouldn’t deal with these people. There has to be better services out there. I hung up because you weren’t listening to me. I am just telling of my experience and I can document my experience
